New nose piercing! (Now nearly 3 months old)

Hey guys!!!

So I haven't wrote in ages, I'm very busy with college work, who could have thought that A levels is so hard! Especially with my media work, I've got so much on my plate at the moment. Plus my business and my psychology... Anyways mock exams done now.
For Christmas this year I finally went to Germany to see my parents and to spend some quality time with my family!
So I'll upload a couple of those later now.
Now what I really wanna talk about is piercings. I absolutely love piercings, I've got 11 piercings now and three tattoos.

I know myself how hard it is before you're getting it, you think a lot about it as well as read reviews and how to treat the new piercing.

One of my recent piercings was my nose piercing. As I live in Norwich I always pierce everyhing at Indigo piercing and tattoo studio (http://indigotattoo.co.uk)

There are variations of the metal and the actual piercing you can get but the most common is the proper nostril piercing with the stud or the ring, up to you.
I personally got it done with the ring as that's who I wanted it and now as I have changed it to a stud I can say, the ring is much more comfortable and better looking unless you want no one to notice it.

I will upload some pics after because I don't have access to the computer at the moment.

So the nose piercing pain in the scale from 1 to 10 is around 5 I would say. But just the actual getting it pierced. As it is very close to your eyes, your eyes will water even if you think they won't, it'll be like you're crying your eyes out. There is literally a pinch, your eyes water and you realise it's already in and that's all. For me it didn't hurt after at all. It hurt a little the evening of it but it's really bareable you just feel that the piercing is new, like a scratch.
Everyone has different pain threshold ability, for example I have Monroe piercing, tongue piercing, took and tragus and also two ear lobe piercings above the normal ear piercing on the right and one on the left, belly piercing and both nipple pierced too (about nipple piercings in the next post), as well as three tattoos so me as a girl I have a very strong pain hold.

In my opinion nose is the least painful one, like simple ear lobe piercings.

About care after, it's not too hard either just like a normal piercing make sure you do clean in with saline solution every day but no more than once, as it takes your actual body to 'fight' the 'wound' too and over cleaning might mean that you're cleaning out the stuff that helps it to heal.
Obviously no playing with the piercing, only when you're cleaning it make sure you do turn it around so you get around everywhere (if it's a ring).

They say it takes around 6-9 weeks for it to heal, but for me it really didn't take that long, it was all healed up after 3 weeks but I left it for at least 4-5 weeks and then changed it myself.

So that's about it. After it heals there are a lot of different studs or rings that you might wanna have once it's healed. The best website that actually helped me decide what I wanted is this :
different jewellery for nasal piercings

So that's about it guys. If you wanna get your nose pierced don't be afraid! I'm even thinking of getting my other nostril pierced. I'm usually very bad with healing time but this was literally the quickest one to heal. So guys go forward with nose piercings! Most common and very beautiful one to get!

Thank you for reading, hope you had beautiful Christmas!

Eve xxx
