Nipple piercing review (a few hours old!)

Hey again ;)

So that's the review for the nipple piercing. It's usually a very cool and intimate one to get for both girls and guys. Girls are more happy to get them done though.

So as I thought about it for a long time (over a year) today (28th December) I decided to actually finally get it!
My biggest advise - read reviews. The more you read the more aware you are of consequences of getting it. Also if you decided to get it, take someone with you for 100%! The pain is really bad and you need someone to hold your hand haha.

So the procedure is pretty easy, they put the needle trough, however it hurts twice as then they have to it the bar/ring through as well. Surprisingly ring is more common for those kinda piercings, but I wanted a bar. As I said earlier I hold pain pretty well but this piercing was literally the worst thing ever. Adding up my tongue piercing pain (which was the absolute catastrophe), all my tattoos, rook and tragus (which are painful and very disgusting as the bar goes not thorough the simple skin but it's like a soft bone) and the pain was much much worse. In my eyes when it goes through its okay but then the second in the very end, you feel like you can't take the pain no more, you start passing out. I think it depends really how sensitive are your nipples, as mine are very sensitive for a touch, so maybe that's why it was unbearable. All the way through I was squeezing my friend's hand as it was bad I thought I cant take it. For me the most important thing is to know what's happening. I don't like needles at all, so I don't wanna look at it. Make sure you are comfortable with your piercer and he knows when you need a minute etc. I got both of mine done at the same time as I'm happy I did, as I wouldn't of ever went back for the second one after that pain. I couldn't even stand up for a minute haha. So it's a solid 10 outta 10 here. Everyone says it's the most painful one but I didn't believe till I tried it myself.

Now the care after is easy as well. When in the shower soak it with the mild antibacterial soap between your palms, let it be there for a bit. Then wash it off. You don't wanna get the water straight on it as it might hurt. During the day you wanna soak it with saline solution (always the fresh one) put it in the cup and put the up on your nipple leave it for 5-10mins. It'll take the pain away as well. When you're getting the piercing I wouldn't recommend wearing a bra at all, as it'll hurt to put it on. Afterward sports bra or soft bra is the best really. You might wanna purchase the piercing aftercare kit like this one : Easy piercing aftercare kit. I have tried this kit on my other piercings (belly) it really helped me, it's safe and useful. It's got a cleaning gel, the saline solution spray (comfortable for areas you can't reach) and the mild antibacterial spray to help for healing.
Also another thing which helps is the nipple pads for breastfeeding woman which you can buy on eBay or simply local Boots, this prevents your nipple rubbing to your bra for example if you work long hours as the best way to help it to heal is leave it wide open (don't wanna strip naked at work haha).

My piercer said it might take from 3months to a year to heal up, but I'll give you the update in a month time or so to see what's happening with my ones.

The biggest pros :
- it looks really nice and lush
- you feel like you have your own little secret just you and your partner knows
- if you go on holidays when you don't wear a bra it looks very nice through the top
- it makes your nipple even more sensitive and help inverted nipples to pop out
- if you don't like your breasts (like me) it makes you love it really haha
- it's a very intimate but beautiful piercing
- very rare to get infections (touch wood)

Cons :
- it takes long to heal
- it hurts as hell to get it done
- the first week your nipple will stay hard at all times which maybe feel weird for you like for me haha at its got a mild pain similar to the one when you're about to go on your period
- you might get it caught in lace bras or other clothing while asleep (that's why better to sleep in a sports bra or a crop top)
- you cannot play with it & your partner can't touch/suck it for at least 3months
- hard to cover your hard nipples hahah

As a whole no matter what kinda pain I went through I do really truly love this piercing. I thought about it for so long and I'm glad I did it. Moreover I'm 20 years old I know what I want in life and if someone ever tells you you're too young, maybe you should think whether you really are not too young for this kinda piercing, but if you're sure - go for it!!!

Thank you,
Love you guys

New nose piercing! (Now nearly 3 months old)

Hey guys!!!

So I haven't wrote in ages, I'm very busy with college work, who could have thought that A levels is so hard! Especially with my media work, I've got so much on my plate at the moment. Plus my business and my psychology... Anyways mock exams done now.
For Christmas this year I finally went to Germany to see my parents and to spend some quality time with my family!
So I'll upload a couple of those later now.
Now what I really wanna talk about is piercings. I absolutely love piercings, I've got 11 piercings now and three tattoos.

I know myself how hard it is before you're getting it, you think a lot about it as well as read reviews and how to treat the new piercing.

One of my recent piercings was my nose piercing. As I live in Norwich I always pierce everyhing at Indigo piercing and tattoo studio (http://indigotattoo.co.uk)

There are variations of the metal and the actual piercing you can get but the most common is the proper nostril piercing with the stud or the ring, up to you.
I personally got it done with the ring as that's who I wanted it and now as I have changed it to a stud I can say, the ring is much more comfortable and better looking unless you want no one to notice it.

I will upload some pics after because I don't have access to the computer at the moment.

So the nose piercing pain in the scale from 1 to 10 is around 5 I would say. But just the actual getting it pierced. As it is very close to your eyes, your eyes will water even if you think they won't, it'll be like you're crying your eyes out. There is literally a pinch, your eyes water and you realise it's already in and that's all. For me it didn't hurt after at all. It hurt a little the evening of it but it's really bareable you just feel that the piercing is new, like a scratch.
Everyone has different pain threshold ability, for example I have Monroe piercing, tongue piercing, took and tragus and also two ear lobe piercings above the normal ear piercing on the right and one on the left, belly piercing and both nipple pierced too (about nipple piercings in the next post), as well as three tattoos so me as a girl I have a very strong pain hold.

In my opinion nose is the least painful one, like simple ear lobe piercings.

About care after, it's not too hard either just like a normal piercing make sure you do clean in with saline solution every day but no more than once, as it takes your actual body to 'fight' the 'wound' too and over cleaning might mean that you're cleaning out the stuff that helps it to heal.
Obviously no playing with the piercing, only when you're cleaning it make sure you do turn it around so you get around everywhere (if it's a ring).

They say it takes around 6-9 weeks for it to heal, but for me it really didn't take that long, it was all healed up after 3 weeks but I left it for at least 4-5 weeks and then changed it myself.

So that's about it. After it heals there are a lot of different studs or rings that you might wanna have once it's healed. The best website that actually helped me decide what I wanted is this :
different jewellery for nasal piercings

So that's about it guys. If you wanna get your nose pierced don't be afraid! I'm even thinking of getting my other nostril pierced. I'm usually very bad with healing time but this was literally the quickest one to heal. So guys go forward with nose piercings! Most common and very beautiful one to get!

Thank you for reading, hope you had beautiful Christmas!
